CRANKSHAFT is one of the key components of engines, other rotating equipment in various industries. It consists of two important parts, the crankshaft main journal and crank pin. We can undertake grinding and polishing of crank pin and main journal of crankshaft. All crankshafts are checked and inspected to ensure they are acceptable for re-use or repair.
We perform and verify NDT Testing like magnetic particle inspection (MPI), hardness, surface roughness on the crankshaft before and after grinding or polishing.
Grinding and polishing are used to obtain the ultimate dimensional accuracy and super surface finish in the crankshaft machining. All Tolerances are maintained as per the manufacturer’s recommendations.
The polishing of crankshaft is done to remove the bearing line marks and improve super surface finish. We have a large machine shop to cater for most needs required when carrying out repairs to your engine.
We can carry out additional crankshaft repairs, as required, including straightening and reclaiming seal areas using sleeve and metal spray process.
